The corporation was facing high costs associated with the preventive maintenance of its industrial compressors. 

The company was seeking a strategy that would allow it to optimize resources without compromising equipment operability or production efficiency.

2. Implemented Solution

Saving with Energy Mexico introduced its Always-On-Time Maintenance Plan (PMST) and developed a customized strategy grounded in a detailed analysis of the average monthly operating hours of each compressor, ensuring maximum efficiency and cost optimization. 

Unlike the traditional maintenance plan, the new strategy allowed for more efficient service scheduling, focusing on critical intervals for 4,000, 6,000 and 8,000 hours maintenance tasks. In addition, an optimized calendar was implemented, incorporating targeted inspections and specialized cleanings to extend the equipment’s lifespan and ensure operational reliability.

3. Results

With just a strategic adjustment in Phase 1 and the implementation of an optimization service like the Always-On-Time Maintenance Plan, the company achieved significant cost savings, reaching a total of $411,918.10 MXN compared to the traditional maintenance approach.
